I agreed to babysit my niece, but that was before I met Stacy. She was my niece’s imaginary friend, or so I thought. At first, I didn’t think much of it. Children often have imaginary friends, and it’s nothing to be worried about. But as the night went on, things took a dark turn.

I was playing a board game with my niece when Stacy appeared. My niece introduced her as her best friend and said that she was always with her. I smiled and greeted Stacy, but there was something off about her. She was always in the shadows, her face obscured, and her voice was a whisper.

As the night went on, strange things started happening. Doors would creak open and shut by themselves, whispers would fill the air, and I felt like I was being watched. I tried to ignore it and chalk it up to my imagination playing tricks on me, but then I started seeing things. I saw a figure in the shadows, and it was always moving just out of my sight.

I tried to leave, but the doors were locked, and the windows wouldn’t budge. I was trapped, and I knew that I wasn’t alone. I was filled with dread as I realized that something was with me in the house, and it wasn’t friendly.
